My name is Jamie, and I am creating this blog to fulfill a journalling requirement for the Senior Seminar for my BA in Studio Art at William Paterson University. While I have tried to start journalling in the past, I repeatedly failed at it because I didn't want to waste my time and energy rambling about that which current-me likes and what current-me is currently doing. No doubt I'd love to read the blather of past-me, just as future-me will presumably enjoy reading about current-me. Regardless, it's never worked out.

This journaling project will be different because I will be given prompts from the professor of my afore- mentioned seminar. I also have an objective, which is to compile things that I like and things that inspire me. The learning outcome for this objective is to help me narrow in on my ultimate goals and aspirations. Unlike many of my peers graduating with a BA in Art Studio, however, I have a strongly concentrated goal; to become an art teacher. My full degree, a dual major, is BA Art Sudio/K-12 Education.
